I informed all of you on 21 Oct 2023 of the method of getting your Digital Life Certificate (DLC) sitting at home (without standing in Q of one km long in the bank due to rush in Nov 2023 or run to Col Veterans or CDA office or DPDO or Record Office).
I did it my own DLC on 21 Oct 2023 sitting at home and today I got confirmation from SPARSH that they accepted my DLC sent by Jeevan Pramaan. Copy of their acknowledgement (in SPARSH) is attached.
Due to heavy rush of submission of DLC, SPARSH will take two to three days to post acknowledgment in your DOCUMENTS page of SPARSH (for which you have to log in entering your 14 digit User Name and Password) .
The screen shot of my DOCUMENTS page of SPARSH shows that my DLC was made on 21 Oct 2023 and my next due date of submission of DLC is 31 Oct 2024.
If you are migrated to SPARSH, you can submit your DLC any time but the validity is till next 12 months. I submitted it on 21 Oct 2023 so validity is till 31 Oct 2024.
This submission of DLC at any time in SPARSH has been done as there are 33 lakh defence pensioners including 6.50 lakh Defence Civilians being paid pension by Min of Def / PCDA (Pensions) Prayagraj. It is not possible to handle so many DLCs in the months of Oct 2023 (for those 80 years of age or above) or Nov 2023(for those below 80 years like I).
I am 75 years only and I should have submitted my DLC in the first week of Nov 2023. But I tried this new method thanks to Jeevan Pramaan App 4.0.0 on experimental basis on 21 Oct 2023 whether the method of getting DLC sitting at home is possible. I did it on 21 Oct (one month before) and now SPARSH has acknowledged it.
What I lost is had I done it in Nov 2023, my next due date is Nov 2024. But how does it make any difference to me if I have to do it in the first week of Oct 2024?
Now I can sleep peacefully till 30 Oct 2024.
I suggest you all follow few simple steps I gave you in this very page on 21 Oct 2023. If you have any problem in entering all data, I will activate my Jio Meet meeting and you can see me explaining how it is done through video on your mobile or desktop computer or lap top. Do send me your inability to generate DLC through WhatsApp on my page at *94931 91380*. I will guide you to get your DLC. It is very simple. You will be surprised once you see the receipt of DLC by Jeevan Pramaan and after two or three days you log in to SPARSH and see your next Due Date of Submission of DLC is Nov 2024.
As I recommended, whenever you get such documents like this in SPARSH, immediately capture it with your mobile (if the next due date is in computer) or if you use mobile press your mobile’s Volume key and Opening key simultaneously as screen shot. Then take a print out and keep it in your My – SPARSH note book. Do not leave everything to your mobile or computer. Any of them can get viruses or can be hacked.
*If you are NOT migrated to SPARSH*
The procedure is same.
*Pension Disbursing Agency* : your own CPPC of bank (CPPC, SBI, Hyderabad etc. It is a drop down menu. Pull it down and then select your own CPPC.
*Agency*: CPPC of your bank.
Rest there is no change.
Even if you have only PPO (no E-PPO) enter that number. It is not mandatory to have E-PPO.
You will get receipt from Jeevan Pramaan for submission of your DLC. Your bank will also send you an acknowledgment that they received your DLC from Jeevan Pramaan.
