FUNDS/source of income
The funds of the society shall consist of
a) Membership fee
b) Periodical subscription as decided by the Society from time to time.
c) Identity Card renewal charges.
d) Income from other sources including economic activities, which Managing Committee approves.
(e) Donations/Contributions from volunteer individuals/organisations Duly Approved by the Governing Body.
(f) Lawful and authorized profit from any venture.
(g) Loans from authorized sources for any approved activity.
MEMBERSHIP
(a) Membership of the Sanjha Morcha is open to all Ex-Servicemen of all three Defence Services(Defence personnel who retire on completion of service or take premature retirement and not for those released from the service due to indiscipline and corruption will not be eligible to be the members of this society.
(b) The persons who have signed the Memorandum of Society and those who
may hereinafter be admitted shall be the members of Sanjha Morcha.
(c) Retired Officers, JCOs and Other Ranks will pay Rs500/- , Rs200/-
and Rs100/- respectively pay as
Membership fee which will form part of Corpus of Society.
(a) Annual Subscription Rs 240/- by each member.
(d) Every three years Identity cards will be renewed against payment, which
will be decided by the Managing Committee of the Society.
Main Aims Objectives
The objects with which the Society is established are as under:
(a) To promote unity and brotherhood among Ex-Servicemen of all three services, and function as a central body to control, guide and where necessary administer the Affiliation State and Union Territories Ex-Servicemen organization so that they grow and develop under its parental care and work under the umbrella of Sanjha Morcha for the welfare of the Ex-Servicemen.
(b) To take up any matter with appropriate authorities at District, State and National Level which may affect the Welfare of Ex-Servicemen, War Widows, Widows and children, disables Ex-servicemen and their dependents..
(c) assist and their dependents in matters relating to pensions, allowances grants, war gratuities, resettlement and rehabilitation in close cooperation with the Govt of States,Govt of India and other official and non-official Agencies and orgainsations and render financial and other assistance to them. matters concerning medical, pension, grants etc.
(d) To engage experts from various fields to promote awareness of hazards of drugs among Ex-Servicemen and general public.
(e) To hold periodic seminars, conferences, Lectures, exhibitions ,rallies against Female child foeticide, Environmental pollution and any grave common concern to ESM
(f) To establish and run any Newspaper, Magazine, Periodicals, Journals, Books, transport system, cooperate societies, Clubs, Libraries, Reading Rooms, Recreational Grounds, Sports activities and other such facilities for the benefit of ESM, widows and their dependents and the society.
(g) To assist reemployment of ESM is states, corporates, security agencies, transport business or form own security agencies for employment of ESM, children’s, dependents etc.
(h) To attempt eradication of social evils like dowry and prevailing corruption among official wielding constitutional powers.
(i) To accept donations and grants and other offerings and to use the assets for the general good of the needy Ex-Servicemen, widows and to establish, maintain and run sanatoria ,homes for the aged and destitute ESM and women and their dependents.
(j) To pertutate the memory of those who laid down their lives in the service of their country and to safe guard the interest of the widows, promote, support and organize suitable occupational opportunities/resettlement of such widows and their dependents.
(k) To combine and/or affiliate co-operate with, take over, amalgance with or absorb any other institution or society having objectives similar to those of the Sanjha Morcha.
(l) To foster the spirit of self-sacrifice, good-will, cooperation and comradeship of all ESM and women .irrespective of race, nationality, caste or creed and to provide policy of reciprocity between ESM of this country in the time of National Emergency in every possible way.
(m) To invest and deal with the moneys of the Sanjha Morcha not immediately required in such manner as may from time to time be determined and raise loans from any persons, local authorities or Government so to create funds for Sanjha Morcha.
(n) To assist Government authorities in recruitment and other matters in the event of National Emergency, to safeguard the interest of the families of those on field service and to assist serving personnel on their return to civil life.
(o) To support United Nations Organisation and all other policies which serve the cause of world peace based on justice freedom, secularism and democracy and to support the country,State,District authorities, State Soldier’s welfare organizations in the time of National Emergency, Calamity in every possible way.
(p) To create and execute or accept any trust or trusts for the purpose of unity and Sanjha Morcha and may own, purchase, lease, construct, manage and transfer any building or part thereof and any other movable/immovable property for the purpose of carrying out objectives of Sanjha Morcha with terms and conditions of the trust.
(q) To establish and maintain Provident Fund for the benefit of employees of Sanjha Morcha.
(r) Undertake any other task considered appropriate by the Governing Body.
5. Conditions:-
(a) The resources of the SANJHA MORCHA shall be utilized solely towards solving the problems and the objectives of the society as set forth in the Memorandum of Society and no portions there of shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly to the members Sanjha Morcha.
(b) The income from all type of sources and property of Sanjha Morcha howsoever derived shall be applied solely towards the objects of Sanjha-Morcha as formulated in the Memorandum of Society, shall belong to Sanjha Morcha only.
(c ) No member of the Sanjha Morcha shall be appointed to any salaried office , or any office paid bythe Sanjha Morcha to any members except repayment of out of pocket expenses and interest on money lent or rent for premises to the society or collective meetings/Rally expenses.
(d) If upon the winding up or dissolution of the society, the remains after settlement of all debit and liabilities any property what ever is remaining, the same shall not be paid to or distributed amongst the members of the society but shall be given or transferred to some other institution having objectives similar to the objectives of the society.
