2. This morning a number of Veterans have received the SMS from BV-defpen that their Pensioner ID, User Name & Password has been Changed. Veterans have been Advised to login with new Credentials.
3. I have spoken to PCDA Pensions Prayagraj Helpline Number 1800 180 5325 on 22 Nov 2024 after receipt of SMS on my mobile from Sparsh team. It has been Confirmed by them that the SMS is genuine & to login with New Credentials. In case the New Password doesn’t work, use Forget Password.
4. Therefore all Pensioners are Advised, If they have Received such SMS, please login with your New Credentials received. After login please Change your Password.
5. Corr PPO with New SPARSH PPO Number printed on 21 Nov 24 have also been Uploaded in Documents. The remaining Details are the same. Kindly Recheck Once and lodge the Grievance if any Discrepancies are noticed.
   
6. Dear Veterans, many SPARSH pensioners (Officers) are getting SMS regarding new User ID & default password. Few pensioners are expressing concern & seeking clarification. The facts are as under :-
7. Erstwhile MP-5&6 has been merged with newly created Officers Record Office (ORO) on SPARSH.
8. ⁠Due to this merger, SPARSH PPO No of erstwhile MP-5&6 pensioners has been changed to align with ORO and so as SPARSH User ID.
9. ⁠SMS with new user ID & default password sent to affected pensioners.
10. ⁠Old PPO No, User ID & Password are ineffective now.
11. ⁠All pensioners who have received this SMS, may kindly login with fresh credentials.
12. ⁠Hereafter, please use new PPO No, especially while submitting Life Certificate on Jeevan Praman Portal.
13. ⁠This is just a technical exercise & does involve any impact on pension entitlements and disbursements.

SOME TIPS/HITS TO LOGIN WITH NEW USERNAME AND GENERATION OF PASSWORD

Use new user ID and since password is default so enter forget password
You will Get OTP on register mobile enter and change the password to new as desired

However you may have to add 01 after the username given in you sms recieved by you on registred mobile
