Lieut Gen RP Singh General Officer Commanding-in-Command, Western Command, was on a two-day visit to Jalandhar Cantonment. On Sunday, he visited Jung-e-Azadi Museum and paid homage to the martyrs. Today, he reviewed the medical facilities at Military Hospital, Jalandhar, and progress of Married Accommodation Project (MAP) Phase-II. GOC Vajra Corps was also present during his visit.
The Army Commander take stock of the facilities which have been recently made functional at the medical hospital in the last one year to include a Palliative Care Ward for patients who are in comma requiring supportive care and an ‘Assisted Reproductive Technologies’ (ART) Centre for infertility services.
While inspecting the 1,790 dwelling units in MAP project, he emphasised on early completion of the project to mitigate the acute shortage of family accommodation being faced by the personnel posted at Jalandhar Military Station.
